Today, I am feeling hopeful and determined to keep making strides to meet my goals. I started doing free basic-level proofreading pages to get myself comfortable with it. I have also started messing around with ideas and writing. And, of course, I started this blog and made a page on Facebook. Little steps, but steps just the same.
I work full-time as an accounting manager for Servpro in North Carolina. We moved here almost 2 years ago to be closer to my family here, but in doing so, we are missing our home in New England. We miss New Hampshire, but Massachusetts, not so much – ha! We still have our camp in NH and visit as often as we can. Each time we go, I feel a sense of loss every time I leave. I want to move back, but we need several things to fall into place for that to happen. I would like to build up my freelance business for proofreading and bookkeeping, and hopefully even find a full-time remote position.
I keep turning to God and putting it in His hands. He helped us make the move down to NC by putting those pieces into place, so I am trusting Him to make it happen to move up to NH if it be His will.
