Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

Having been born in 1979, there was a time in my life that I CAN remember not using a personal computer on a daily basis. However, computers were still prevalent in my life as far as companies using computers for our everyday shopping and such. So truly, I cannot imagine a world without computers of any kind (especially as I sit on my work computer with 3 monitors, my cell phone-basically a handheld computer-and my personal laptop next to me uploading videos and photos LOL).

While I know I could get by without computers, I worry about the younger generation. When I was in school, we learned how to do everything longhand and without the help of even a basic calculator, at least until I was in high school. Nowadays, people wouldn’t be able to navigate to an address, calculate a tip in a restaurant or even figure out how to look something up without the help of a computer of some kind.

We are incredibly spoiled by having use of computers. Instant access to pretty much anything we want, and more than we could even think of. While I enjoy a weekend away with no electronics, it would be very difficult to learn how to function without them regularly.
