Two years ago, we packed our whole lives up and moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina. We were scared and nervous to move to such a different place. It was great to be near my dad and my sister (and I will miss my sister terribly – this is the only big downfall to going back), however it never truly felt like home.
Don’t get me wrong, NC is a beautiful state and we have done some pretty awesome things here. We’ve been to the Outer Banks numerous times and even out to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Throughout the 2 years we have been here, though, we have been traveling back and forth to New Hampshire very often. We have a camper there and love it. It always felt like home. When we went back for Laconia Motorcycle Week in June, we stayed for 10 days. It was during this trip that it became clear to me that we needed to go back.
Now, we are packing everything back up and moving back. Starting over is always scary and nerve wracking, but I am excited for this fresh start. NH is home to us and we are going back home. And I can’t wait.
