This was a tough question as I have only been living in my current city for a little over 2 weeks now, but of course I have already been to the Manchester City Public Library.
I love everything about libraries. The first thing I noticed upon arriving at the library was the beautiful architecture of the outside of it. The leaves are falling now, and it gave off that awesome fall vibe that New Hampshire is so well known for. When you walk in, you are greeted by the smell of old books (I wish there was a candle for this!) and the smiling librarian at the front desk.
The interior architecture was even more amazing than the outside. I was awestruck. The upstairs opens up into a rotunda that was gorgeous. I love old buildings like this and I truly hope they keep this restored and don’t try to modernize it. I can already see myself spending many a winter afternoon perusing books and magazines.
