The Sky is the Limit…someday

Daily writing prompt
List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.

All kidding aside, I would love to have a job that makes me feel fulfilled AND takes care of my financial needs. I am now 46 and definitely having the “mid-life crisis” feeling of dissatisfaction with my career. My job is not bad, and I like the people I work with, but it fills me with boredom and frustration each day I go in because it is not what I want to be doing anymore. So – if money were no object, here are my three dream jobs:

  1. Musician. I grew up playing the flute all through school. I barely play now and would LOVE to be part of an orchestra and perform for crowds again. Playing just fills me with so much peace and joy…maybe I need to dust off that old flute!
  2. Writer. If I didn’t have to work full-time (and then some), I could devote more time to polishing my writing skills and create poetry and pen that novel I have always dreamed of doing. I have so many stories in my head, and I have started working on them but progress would be so much faster if I could spend more hours per day on it.
  3. Full-time RVer. This is my number one dream. I want to own an RV and travel the entire US and all of its national parks. I would have a YouTube channel with my fiancee cataloging our adventures. The idea of being able to wander freely and go where I feel like it is just magical to me.

    1. That’s awesome you got to live in the national Forest like that. I’m sorry to hear about your motorcycle accident but it sounds like you’ve got a positive attitude about it.
