What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

The hardest personal goal I have set for myself is to lose 100 pounds. Boy, do I struggle with this! I love food far too much and my chronic illnesses limit my physical activity. My weight has fluctuated all of my adult life and it is a major struggle for me. Toss in my recent hysterectomy and surgical menopause and it is just a barrel of fun.

So far this year, I have lost 22 pounds. For me, this is good. I have also lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol. I want to be able to increase my fitness levels and start hiking again. I will continue to fight the good fight – and myself – to achieve my goal, no matter how long it may take me!
