Moving SUCKS! The end result is worth it…

As some of you know, we recently packed up and moved from Eastern North Carolina to New Hampshire. It was a fairly sudden move as my fiancรฉe was offered a great job opportunity she couldn’t pass up. We packed up all the clothes and decorations that we wanted in the short term as the camper we were living in in NC is coming up to NH to our seasonal campground.

So long, Tranter’s Creek. See you next time!
First leg of the trip to Harrisburg, PA

We hit the road about 9am on the 28th-exactly two years to the day that we got there from Massachusetts. We took the longer route through western Maryland and Pennsylvania to avoid Philadelphia, Baltimore and NYC. I never knew western Maryland was so absolutely beautiful! It was a good rive, as far as longer drives go. We stopped overnight in Harrisburg, PA as we had the dog and cat with us and it is just too hard to drive almost 14 hours straight through. It definitely made the drive more bearable.

The overnight stop was great and we were refreshed the next morning to finish our drive to NH. I’m not gonna lie – I threw a fist pump out the window to my fiancรฉe, who was following me and cried when we crossed into NH. We’ve always dreamed of living in NH – we just took a slight 2-year detour to NC. Here are the pics of our new apartment:

After 2 years of living in a 33-foot camper, this 2-bedroom apartment feels like a palace! We are truly blessed to call this place home. We’ve been happy and smiling since we got here last Wednesday. Cheers to our new adventure in NH!

      1. You’ll definitely get a job soon. Don’t give up until you get one. The day you give up, you’ll lose. But I can already see a bright future for you, my friend. Best of luck with your job.
