In school, I always loved English class. I loved all aspects from grammar to writing to literature. I remember in fifth grade reading the entire English textbook in the first month of school. Yes, I was THAT nerd! LOL I enjoyed writing essays on books I read and still do it sometimes just for fun.
I have taken a proofreading certification course and so far, I am only proofreading on free websites to start building a portfolio to start earning money with freelance gigs. I hate when I see people use improper grammar and it takes a lot for me to not correct them. It’s crazy how much I notice that some people just don’t see-it seems so obvious to me. I just do an internal shudder and move on.
I hope to turn my lifelong love of English class into a full-time career eventually. I want to make enough money freelancing and start writing my stories for publishing. That is one reason why I started this blog. It exercises my writing “chops” to develop my skills further.
