When we moved back north to New Hampshire, I didn’t have a job. I had a good phone interview and an email conversation with a city job. I got 2 in person interviews with these 2 jobs when I first got here.
I finally heard back today from the city job that I will be starting next Monday. I am so excited! This will be a new adventure for me as I mostly did dealership accounting my whole adult life. In NC, I did 6 months of restaurant accounting and then moved onto a Servpro franchise. Now, I am going to be doing governmental accounting, which was my favorite class when I was getting my Associates degree. I am taking a course online for audit so it’s free and I can brush up on my governmental accounting rules.
Here’s to new adventures and the constant learning that life is for me. I love learning new things!
